Should I clean the container before filling it?

Yes, all manufacturers advise checking the packaging for any contamination, e.g. by washing the packaging with water or putting it in a compressed air machine.

The responsible for the hygiene of the packaging is the packer who, as the person in charge of ensuring the hygiene of his final products, must avoid contamination caused by any handling of the goods during transport, storage or unpacking.

After production, both the glass containers (melted at 1 500 °C and moulded at about 900 °C) and the plastic containers are clean and sterile and stored stacked on shrink-wrapped wooden pallets.

From that moment on, the packaging undergoes many movements that prevent the control of perfect hygiene, which is why it is always advisable to sanitize them before packaging.
